are stored locally on your device.
Backup & Restore: Data exported via backups is
managed by your chosen storage or cloud service. Checkpoint does not host your personal
data.
2. Third-Party Services
Checkpoint fetches metadata through the IGDB API. When you search for games, queries are sent to IGDB to retrieve art and details. No personal identification is linked to these searches.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your game library stays on your hardware. Deleting the application will remove local data unless you have performed a manual backup. While we use industry-standard security measures, please remember that no electronic storage method is 100% secure.
4. Children's Privacy
Checkpoint does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
5. Your Rights
Because your data is local, you have absolute control. You can:
- Access and Export your data via the Backup feature.
- Delete individual entries or clear all app data via system settings.
